The students of Sri Balaji University, Pune experienced the real tech world of 5G at India Mobile Congress 2022 which was organised in Delhi at Pragati maidan. SBUP represented as official academic partner in the event. SBUP had their own booth who were presenting Management Development Program (MDP) Who provide corporate training to Employs.
It was the inauguration of 5G by our Honourable Prime minister Shree Narendra Modi ji with other big bulls Mr Mukesh Ambani, Sunil Mittal and our IT minister Ashwini Vaishnav It was really a mind mesmerising experience, Experiencing the biggest launch at Asia’s biggest tech fair which was jointly organized by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) and Cellular operator Association of India (COAI).
There were several booths to experience the world of 5G all booths were showcasing there networking equipment’s which will help 5G service to roll out much faster also there were many software companies showcasing 5G use cases and 5G ready software setups During the ongoing event there were several sessions on different session halls by panellist of company CEO’s and CTOs to share their experience and views on different use cases and development of digital India through 5G.
The most mind-blowing tech to experience was Metaverse or virtual reality where you can experience a real world like experience by using VR Headset.
I experienced virtual reality on Jio booth where there was a demo of Hamleys store where we can experience whole store by wearing a VR Headset. The store felt like completely real like where we can touch and buy things, we were also able to move the whole store and, we can access all the products from exploring to buying.
This whole experience of Virtual Reality is more seamless because of 5G as it has low latency. Low latency helps you to reduce input lags and experience all the things in real time. 5G will also help to spread the new and innovative tech for masses to experience. Also, there is a strong link between cloud gaming and metaverse.
5G has made it possible to play games without downloading it that is cloud gaming. Were games are being directly accessed by cloud servers. Games like Fortnite are very seamlessly integrated with virtual reality and 5G helps to lowers down the latency. Cloud gaming also is very network intensive service you need a very strong and reliable internet connection. 5G service itself is not important it is the whole ecosystem which works together.
Collaboration is the key for faster spread of 5G networks. It is important to collaborate with start-ups which come with new idea and better teamwork.
Also 3G was not for everyone could not adopt it but it has now been important for everyone to adapt to 5G for digital development and unlocking new the new possibilities.
