India is going to experience a 5G network soon as our honorable Prime Minister has launched 5G in India on 1st October 2022 at the India Mobile congress 2022 Event held in Pragati Maidan, Delhi. We were also part of that event as our college Sri Balaji University was the official academic partner of IMC 2022. We were a group of 50 people in this event representing Sri Balaji University. IMC 2022 was India’s biggest telecom event, and many companies were part of this event they booked their booth in that event to present their products and services and demonstrate how 5G will help in various sectors like healthcare, agriculture, education, gaming, etc.
On 1st October Honorable Prime Minister was there in Pragati Maidan to Launched 5G in India and with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Ashwini Vaishnav (Telecom Minister), Businessman Mukesh Ambani (Indian Businessman), Sunil Bharti Mittal (CEO of Bharti Enterprises), Kumar Mangalam Birla (Chairperson of Aditya Birla Group) were there. This Event was 4 days 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th October on the first day Mukesh Ambani said that Jio will Roll out all over India by December 2023 and Explained how 5G will impact various Industries and the advantages of 5G After Mukesh Ambani, Sunil Bharti Mittal talked about how Airtel is working on 5G and announced that with the launch of 5G Airtel will be 1st telecom company to provide 5G network to their customers by Activating 5G Network in 8 cities from 1st October 2022 and committed that 5G rollout in all over India will complete by March 2024. After Sunil Bharti Mittal, Kumar Mangalam Birla took over the stage and talked about the 5G network of Vi and said Vi is also working on it and will roll out 5G in India soon. After that Our Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi took over the stage and started talking about 5G and its Various Effects on various Sectors they had word with a school student in Varanasi by holography technique demonstrating the power of technology and how technology will change our life and way of learning and talked about India’s growth and Future Aspects.
At the Event, the major giant of the Telecom Sector was there Demonstrating their products and Services and Role in 5G. For Us, it was great exposure and an opportunity to learn about telecom sectors and emerging technologies in the markets. After the inauguration on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd October there were sessions organized and top management persons of the telecom giant were Explaining various opportunities, Advantages, and Challenges and 5G and they also highlighted the focus industry which will be a major focus and get benefitted by 5G and two major industries were Agriculture and Cloud Gaming.
