Our Honourable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, and other dignitaries unveiled 5G here at Pragati Maidan. I was given the chance by Sri Balaji University, Pune to travel to INDIAN MOBILE CONGRESS 2022 where we were the official academic partner for the largest technology festival in Asia, IMC 2022, with a team of 40 students and 10 faculty members. The event was praised by industry professionals and those in attendance at the inauguration.
As soon as you stepped foot inside IMC 2022, 5G advertising could be seen everywhere. Due to 5G, there will be major shift in the industrial and logistics industries. Industry 4.0 is being used by the manufacturing sector. Production lines are becoming more adaptable, efficient, and sustainable thanks to the digitisation and advancement of the manufacturing process. When 5G begins to roll out in India, the world’s digital connections are going to get wider and quicker, giving every industry a platform to increase productivity and innovation.
The future of the connected world goes beyond the newest cutting-edge technologies like 5G, AI, VR, cloud gaming, edge, Internet of Things (IoT), robotics, and many more. However, a significant portion of it will be determined by the further development of these current advanced communication technologies. Atmanirbhar Bharat, start-ups, large corporations like KPMG (Knowledge Partner), JIO, QUALCOM, VI, TCS, AIRTEL, HFCL, BOSTON, PULSEPLAY DIGITAL (Digital Marketing Partner), HTL, ZOHO, and many others had booths at IMC 2022. Sri Balaji University, Pune was also there as the Official Academic Partner of Indian Mobile Congress 2022 and we interacted with significant business leaders and industry experts and learnt from them.
