Name:                       Vaishnavi Diliprao Deshmukh (Student Manager, BITM)

On 1st October 2022, Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri. Narendra Modi Launched 5G in India Mobile Congress-2022. India Mobile Congress (IMC) is the largest telecom, media and technology forum in South Asia. Our college Sri Balaji University, Pune is sole Academic Partner of India Mobile Congress -2022.

I feel delighted and it was a very proud moment for me to represent our college in IMC-2022. It was such a great experience for me to interact with such a great Business leader. Also, I got Golden opportunity to listen the thoughts and ideas on 5G launch by our Hon’ble prime minister Sri Narendra Modi, Hon’ble minister of IT Shri.Ashwini Vaishnav, Hon’ble Union minister of State Shri. Devusinh Chauhan,Mr.Mukesh Ambani, Mr. Sunil Mittal, Mr. Kumar Mangalam Birla.

I Attended few sessions, but I found one session quite interesting which was on Network Automation for 5G workloads, the few takeaways from this session are for the effective automation Capture beach event happening in network, need art and skill to manage all type of networks, Network should be energy efficient. And the biggest challenge is the changing environment.

Another session was on overview of simulation and the key learning are, AI based resource optimization in tandem with a simulation allows us to perform resource optimization for several applications, including sustainable and smart healthcare and simulations are powerful when we can accurately and precisely model a physical infrastructure in a stimulated platform as a digital twin.

When I was at booth, I got a chance to interact with so many people and explain to them about our university and the different courses it’s offering. Also, about sri BUILT- Sri Balaji University’s Initiative for Learning & Development, aimed at creating future leaders and entrepreneurs. I get chance to meet the Alumni of our university, they were so happy to see that our university is the academic partner & shared their experiences and memories with us.

The most interesting thing I found in the event was the Start-ups. There were so many good start-ups with great new ideas & technology. The one thing I liked about these start-ups is that they are focusing on the rural areas where there is less connectivity and there, they want to set up the new technology. Another thing is the focus on the agricultural sector.

Few startups which I liked are, “Finaara Machine” which is 5G enabled Rural Banking solution, Remittance & Money Exchange Without Middleman & Exchange ATM. It’s a vehicle for automobile banking fully loaded rural banking solutions with physical amounted & ATM/AVRM.

“UdyogYatra” is Digitally transforming food operations which efficiently teach & control the food supply chains from souring to consumption bring in traceability in food system. This enables the food business to save costs, increase revenue and achieve scale via standardization.

“ Bagmo” is innovative patent-pending technology for the Blood supply chain to eradicate the non-availability of blood in rural area of India. Bagmo is the spun-out company of BIRAC’s social innovation immersion program on maternal and child. “Nunam” is technology to enable second life to batteries. It is Contributing to fight climate change and improving energy access. There is 100% Reuse rate of Batteries, 50% Cost of energy storage, Carbon neutral energy storage is used.

“There were a lot of things I learned, especially new technologies and how 5G is playing an inherent role for ease of life of human being. I would like to Thank the director and faculties of Sri Balaji university, because of which i get chances to experience this prestigious event. Also, the faculty and my fellow student managers who were there with me & who constantly supported and guided me at the event. I’m grateful for this.
