WHY SBUP?
I know choosing a University or a college for MBA is confusing. I am sure you might have or are going through the same. Isn’t it? Sounds like you? Then you are at the right place.
I did my graduation in BBA (IB), also I have worked as an intern in the position of Operations and Marketing Head for one year & 3 months
One year ago, just like you, I was also planning for my MBA.Taking the competitive exams, to get admitted to one of the best B schools. But the environment was not the same, the pandemic was on the rise, and things related to the exam like date, pattern, tenders, etc. was being changed and getting delayed. Also, the paper was not in the pattern the cell had proposed or promised which led to a major dissatisfaction amount the students and resulted in fewer scores.
I was too depressed as I knew with the percentile, I have my dream or a goal of getting a good B-school could not complete. But back then I heard about this B school from my senior friends and colleges named Sri Balaji University, Pune. After getting influenced by the way they described this college, I too research about it and got to know that. It is ranked 11th among the top B-Schools in India with 100% placement. This college is recognized by UGC and in fact, approved by AICTE. You can assure with this that Sri Balaji University, Pune is reputed. Sri Balaji University, Pune is ranked one of the top private B-schools in Maharashtra in terms of return on investment (ROI) as per Outlook. Also, while making my decision before applying for group discussion and personal interview ‘GDPI’ I interacted with passed-out seniors, students pursuing MBA in SBUP was the great investment of 2 years at SBUP, and the way they described this college is amazing. I asked them about placements, Institutes, Internships, faculties. Even for the activities organized at the college, etc. and the feedback, I received from them was very positive and, those influenced me more towards Balaji on making my decision.
My First interaction with Management
After making my mind, I contacted the admissions cell at SBUP, where they clearly explained to me the group discussion and personal interview (GDPI) and admission process and how to apply. Then after clearing the GDPI process and seeing the skills I have or the workability, I carry along, I got admitted to the BIIB campus of SBUP. Here, I must add, that SBUP is a University that also values a student’s skills, and not only marks, also help students to learn many things other than just academics.
Experience and journey till date
Though the first semester of batch ‘2021-2023’ has conducted online due to the Covid19 and we being the students of SBUP can proudly say that even though the mode of learning was online we didn’t lack the knowledge we were supposed to get as the faculty who was highly experienced and had in-depth information of their respective subjects also they were very well prepared for the lectures. It was more of interaction rather than a lecture, where students enjoyed learning. Every session was recorded so that the student could view them later, in case of technical issues.
SBUP introduces Bio Bubble
While other Universities in Pune were opened with 100% of gathering and regular/offline mode, whereas SBUP took into consideration for the students as-well-as the parent’s. This shows SBUP treats its students as their own child and this was proved by the concept which they bought in called as Bio Bubble, here students who wanted to attend the lectures offline could come to the campus stay in the campus but not meet any outsiders. In case there is an emergency. This is to control the COVID inside the campus and assuring that immense care of students would be taken. The admission cell department, the professors in charge, faculties, directors, and deputy directors never discriminate among the students and were always ready to solve the query of the student, understand us and resolve our issues.
Suggestions
I know the one reading this will always look up for a suggestion from a student pursuing MBA at SBUP, hereby I would like to suggest or advise you that if you are serious about your career and want to settle and have a better future, SBUP is the best place for you where opportunities are waves coming at you directly, and knowledge you gather from the faculty is immense. I feel proud that I am a student manager at SBUP.
Pursuing and continuing my MBA journey at SBUP I can proudly say and assure you that I’m surely going to be the better person I was from yesterday and, in this journey, I may be walking, running, or crawling but. I am sure getting one step close to my dream of getting a good package and making my family proud.
