A girl from City Thane in Maharashtra state was doing her graduation in B.A. Sociology in 2019 and was tensed about her future because nothing was decided about her career. She tried to search for all possible career options on the internet as well as by talking to people. Her brother Abhishek encouraged her to look at MBA as a career option. She thought about MBA as a career option but wasn’t ready to do it. She was confused because she didn’t want to study mathematics but after doing some research, she thought it will be better to go with the MBA option than do something else. After discussing with her family, she decided to take up MBA in Marketing as a career. She started looking for admission processes and entrance exams. She appeared for exams MAT in which she got good marks. After going through the whole big process of entrance exams, during the Covid pandemic period she started looking for an appropriate college/University for MBA in Marketing.

She talked to some teachers and family friends and then found out about Sri Balaji University, Pune (SBUP) from her cousin sister Mrs. Chaitali Joglekar. At first look, it was a great option for MBA college. But the thought of studying in a big and famous college was not going away. She tried to search for famous colleges’ entrance tests and cut-offs but it was beyond her reach. Then she decided to wait for the next entrance exam which was CET conducted by the Maharashtra State Board. But CET cell wasn’t declaring any exam dates because of which everything was on hold. After waiting for the CET exam for 4 months she decided to apply to the Sri Balaji University, Pune and not wait for the CET exam. She went ahead and checked out the website of SBUP. All the courses available were listed on their website and all the procedure was mentioned as well. All social media accounts were active so she could see all the activities that are conducted by SBUP on campus. Ratings of SBUP on all trusted sites like Siksha.com were high.

So finally, she decided to fill the form, attend the group discussion, and a personal interview. She was a bit nervous because her interview wasn’t that great. But still, she cracked the interview and got the email saying congratulations “You are selected and you have got the admission to Balaji Institute of Management and Human Resource Development (BIMHRD). She was happy and then CET cell announced the exam date which was 5 days away. Her family was telling her not to give the exam as her admission was confirmed with Sri Balaji University, Pune. but she wasn’t satisfied with it so she gave the exam. In the next 3 days, Balaji University informed about starting the induction program which was for all students. It is the best program for all students so that every student knows the equal amount of knowledge which is required for MBA studies. 

So, she started the program with Sri Balaji University, Pune. That girl is me. I Swarangi Mohan Joshi landed in SBUP. In the next few days, a parcel came home with a portable Wi-Fi (Dongle) and books in it. I was thrilled by seeing a dongle that was free of cost sent by Sri Balaji University, Pune to all students for attending online lectures. I just loved that concept and gesture of sending dongles to the students at their homes. It clearly shows the different thinking of Sri Balaji University, Pune. I was convinced that my choice is right.

After a few days, scores of CET were announced but by the time, I was a part of Sri Balaji University, Pune and I felt so good being a part of the SBUP family that despite having good marks in hand I didn’t try to apply for other colleges. I decided not to change college and I started my journey of becoming an MBA degree holder with the Sri Balaji University, Pune (SBUP).
