So, I have completed my schooling at Central Academy Senior Secondary School, Udaipur. I have done bachelors in commerce. I’ll tell you why I have taken commerce as a stream because I think that accounts, economics, or business are the subjects we have never high in dept at your primary schools. So, I thought that I should learn something new and should explore these subjects. So, I took the commerce stream and completed my college.

So, after completing my graduation in commerce, I wanted to explore more about business and systems. I tookthe guidance of my teachers who further suggested me to look at doing MBA to further my. I researched about many B Schools and MBA programs across Rajasthan, Maharashtra and all over India. And then the pandemic happened and our lives almost came to a full stop. My well wishes suggested that I should look at investing my time in doing an MBA degree so as to prepare myself. So post pandemic, the markets and career opportunities would certainly open up more.

I heard about Sri Balaji University, Pune (SBUP) for the first time from one of my seniors from my bachelor’s group. After going through a list of shortlisted MBA Institutes and finally clearing my written test, group discussion and personal interview at SBUP I was granted admission.

An MBA degree prepares a student for the professional world. SBUP provides ample opportunities for corporate guest lectures, Q&As and interactions, Doing MBA at SBUP has helped me expand my network and build friendships with my batch mates from across India. In the beginning I wasn’t sure about how the course would be delivered online, but I must appreciate SBUP in the way they managed the online sessions, the patience of the faculties, the rich interactions from corporate leaders and the Institute providing an internet data dongle to support our online MBA classes journey.

At present, I can interact with my fellow MBA students and faculties through online live classes and events. I have grown to be more confident and comfortable in using various online tools like Zoom, Google Meet, for our class meetings, discussing our case studies, projects as well as making presentations in aprofessional way. We have also discovered many innovative strategies to display our managerial skills. Our faculties always motivate us to stay focused on our career goals and guide us to adapt to this changing world. 

Every day we learn many new things and connect with new students and with all that, we also celebrate the events and festivals in online mode with the same enthusiasm as on Campus. I think in the online mode every time we find some new and creative ideas for the event. Till now we have celebrated/commemorated online events likeKargilDiwas, Independence Day, Friendship Day, Teacher’s Day, Diwali, and many more. 

SBUP has truly built the family culture and made us feel at home. The best part for me is the virtual birthday celebration. Whoever’s birthday it is, we make a beautiful video for them with their photos and sweet messages from the whole class. I find this gesture very unique specially being far from each other but making someone feel special despite never having met them in person.

So, till now my experience with Sri Balaji University, Pune (SBUP) is amazing and I hope every day I learn new things and reach my career and life goals and dreams.
